About us

We are an interdisciplinary team of four students from the University of Zurich, brought together through the Digital Society Initiative (DSI) Master’s Minor in Digital Skills. Our project originated in the two-semester module “Teamwork on Digital Transformation”, where we were challenged to develop innovative, real-world solutions to digital-era problems. 

From this the laptop hub was born – a project aimed at promoting informed and environmentally- conscious laptop purchasing decisions among students. We are committed to reduce ICT-related emissions while ensuring students have laptops that meet their academic needs efficiently. By combining our diverse academic backgrounds, we’ve created a data-driven initiative to support smarter, greener choices for students – one laptop at a time.
